Blue Eyed mischief in the making...

Welcome to the site. First, a bit of background - Mike was born in the North East of England in Thornaby-on-Tees. (officially making him a 'Northen'a').

 

Mike is a versatile and charismatic actor with extensive experience on stage and screen. His love for performance was seeded early whilst regularly attending the annual street festival in his local town. It was not until he graduated from York St John's University in 2007, having studied Theatre, Film and Television production that the acting bug bit and bit hard. In 2007 he relocated to London, and began attending drama school first at Drama Studio London and Redroof's Theatre School before training in Meisner for 3 years under tuition of actress Eva Pope and director Bryan Oliver. He continues to study at the London arm of Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop

In 2008, Mike appeared in the big screen adaptation of Noel Coward's Easy Virtue, playing Warwick Holborough. Directed by Stephan Elliot for Ealing Studios the movie starred Ben Barnes and Jessica Biel.  This was followed in 2010 by an appearance in The King's Speech, directed by Tom Hooper. with Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush.

Mike has appeared on stage at The New Diorama Theatre, The Pleasance Theatre, The White Bear Theatre, The Mary Wallace Theatre and The Vaults Tunnels: Waterloo with credits including The Duchess of Malfi, the leading roles of Dan in Night Must Fall, Hodge in Experiment 150, and Philip The Bastard in Shakespeare's King John; as well as Skin Deep with Attila Theatre; the London run of the hit immersive family show Dinosaurs In The Wild, and the European Premiere of the multi media immersive show The Crystal Egg Live (serving as Actor, Writer and Producer)  

He is co-owner and creative producer at Old Lamp, the award nominated, boutique production company he founded with British / Portuguese actress Luisa Guerreiro. Learn more here
